Expenses: receipts, bills, staff claims & approvals
- Expenses rebuilt around the receipt — attach it first and the expense is built around what it shows
- One status per expense, and a tab for each job: approvals, bills to pay, reimbursements, recurring, vendors and budgets
- Bills to pay — record a bill as unpaid, keep its due date, pay it in parts and watch the balance close
- Staff claims — staff record what they paid for themselves, and you pay several back in one transfer with an email breakdown
- Approvals queue with the receipt beside each expense and the checks that decide it: proof of payment, possible duplicates, and budget impact
- Duplicate detection catches the same vendor, amount and day — save it anyway when it is genuinely separate
- Recurring expenses for rent, internet and subscriptions, each run creating a draft to check
- Every approved expense posts to your books, and each expense shows the entries it raised
- Staff now see only the expenses they recorded or are claiming for
- Expense audit pack export — CSV on Starter, PDF and ZIP on Growth, scheduled delivery on Business
