How to Add Notes to a Customer Profile
Add private notes to a customer's profile — useful for recording preferences, agreements, or anything you need to remember.
Customer notes let you record anything worth remembering about a client — preferred payment method, a verbal agreement, a sensitivity around pricing, or just a reminder for your next call. Notes are private and only visible to your team.
Steps
- Click Customers in the left menu.
- Open the customer's profile.
- Click the Notes tab at the top of the profile.
- Click Add Note.
- Type your note and click Save. The note is timestamped and attributed to the team member who wrote it.
Notes are never visible to the customer. They are only accessible to team members with access to your account.
Add a note after every significant interaction — a payment dispute resolved, a rate change agreed, or a delivery issue flagged. It saves you from having to dig through email threads months later.
