How to Configure Automatic Late Fees

AstaBill can automatically add a late fee to overdue invoices. This feature is available on the Growth plan and above.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Business.
2. Scroll down to the Late fees section.
3. Click Enable automatic late fees to turn it on.
4. Choose the fee type: Flat amount or Percentage (%).
5. Enter the Fee amount (GHS) or Fee rate (%).
6. Set the Grace period (days after due date) — how many days past the due date before the fee kicks in. Enter 0 to apply on the same day the invoice becomes overdue.
7. Click Save Changes.

This feature requires the Growth plan. If you're on the Free plan, you'll be prompted to upgrade when you try to enable it.
