How to Create and Send a Quote
Send a professional quote to a customer before the work begins — and convert it to an invoice with one click when they accept.
A quote lets you propose your prices before committing to the work. Once a customer accepts it, you can convert it to an invoice in one click — no re-entering line items.
Steps
- Click Quotes in the left menu, then click New Quote.
- Select an existing customer or add a new one.
- Add your line items — descriptions, quantities, and unit prices. Use the item catalog to insert saved products quickly.
- Set an expiry date so the customer knows how long the quote is valid.
- Add any notes or terms in the Notes field.
- Click Send to email the quote to the customer, or Save as Draft to send it later.
Set an expiry date on every quote. A quote with no expiry lets customers delay indefinitely — 7 to 14 days is a reasonable window for most projects.
